While the video started off cute, it slowly dissolved into a pointless drone. The idea itself is cute, capitalizing alongside the launch of Beauty & the Beast movie, but it falls flat in Sony's video.

The video doesn't address even the primary USP of the handycam, which is its high definition 4K resolution. They could have compared it to 1080p, to show that it's 4 times as detailed.

If they were serious about it, they would also compare it with a smartphone that can also record in 4K. Why would anyone buy a camcorder vs the ease of use of a smartphone?

Plus, it's just sad that the kid had an "accident" 1 day prior to his performance, only to dance with an overlay of a projection.

Sad.
